The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the results for the Lower Secondary Scholarship (LSS) and Upper Secondary Scholarship (USS) examinations 2025. The results were declared on May 14 and are available on their official website, bpekerala. in.
This is a summary of the LSS (Lower Secondary School) and USS (Upper Secondary School) scholarship program.
Number of Qualified Students: Of the 1,08,421 students who appeared for the LSS examination, 30,380 (28.02%) qualified. Of the 91,151 students who appeared for the USS examination, 38,782 (42.55%) qualified.
Criteria for Scholarship Award: To be eligible for the scholarship, the cut-off scores were:
LSS: 48 / 80
USS: 63 / 90.
Gifted Children Program: In addition, 1,640 students received notification that they had been selected to receive the Gifted Children Program for outstanding performance.
The steps to check and download your results are:
Go to bpekerala. in.
Find the ‘Results’ section.
Select the relevant exam (LSS or USS).
Input your registration number and date of birth.
Click ‘Submit’ to view your scorecard.
You can download or print your result to keep it for reference.
Document Submission: Students who qualify will submit the required documents, such as income certificates, school verification, to their schools for submission by June 15, 2025. If this does not happen, scholarship payments cannot be processed.
Re-evaluation Requests: Any student wishing to submit a request for re-evaluation can submit this request until May 31, 2025, on the official website.
The LSS and USS exams are designed to identify and support based on merit Class 4 students and Class 7 pupils, respectively.
These scholarships are being operated as motivation for students to achieve academic excellence by providing students with financial support or easing the financial burden for their families, and therefore assisting students to continue their education.
