Spread the love

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to announce the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 results, and candidates can expect the official release by April 17, 2025, as stated in the exam information bulletin. Once declared, candidates who appeared for the examination can view and download their results from the official websitejeemain.nta.nic.in.

Exam Overview: Dates and Shifts

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper I (B.E./B.Tech) was conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 across 531 exam centres in 285 Indian cities and 15 international locations. The Paper I exam was conducted in two shifts on April 2, 3, 4, and 7:

  • Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

On April 8, the exam was held in a single shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Paper 2A and 2B (B.Arch and B.Planning) exams were held on April 9, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Answer Key and Objection Window

The provisional answer key for Paper 1 was released on April 11, 2025, and the objection window remained open until April 13. During this period, candidates were allowed to raise challenges if they found discrepancies in the answer key.

Responding to criticism regarding the answer key, NTA posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle:

“Drawing conclusions based on the provisional answer keys is not desirable. NTA would like to advise and inform candidates that they should not be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety.”

As per NTA’s official notice, if a candidate’s challenge is found valid, the concerned answer(s) will be updated and the final answer key will be applied to all candidates. However, individual candidates will not be informed whether their challenge was accepted. The final answer key, vetted by subject experts, will be used to prepare and declare the result.
